Because that's how it should be. No one in their dorm even bothers with them anymore, becuase just out of boredom, George will shove his hand down Fred's pants. He wouldn't give him a hand job or anything, in public, but it would just be there, momentarily, for the extent of their conversation with Lee or Oliver, or whoever.
Except the one time they were fooling aroung in their Transfiguration IV class, paired off and practicing spells. and George laughed so hard when Fred turned the knut into a pence, that he pushed up right up close against Fred and slid his hand down Fred's pants like always--
but McGonagall saw.
George had looked up from Fred's neck and stared her right in the eyes. His hand, he thought, might be okay where it was, under Fred's robes if he stayed completely still. But there was Fred gasping twice and George knew he had to either keep going or pull away.
He opened his mouth to speak to the Professor, because he had suddenly come up with the most wittiest, most detention-worthy comeback ever--
and she turned away. And Fred suddenly came against George's knuckles and he had to bite down on his wand so no one else would notice. George hadn't barely touched Fred, but. As he slumped back down into his chair and saw Fred grinning helplessly at him, he was suddenly so grateful that he had a twin.
